What is Reiki?

Reiki is a century old Japanese technique developed by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki is a gentle, yet effective, method designed for stress reduction and relaxation which in turn promotes healing.

Reiki is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the premise that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to function. If our life force energy is low, then we are much more likely to get sick or feel stress. When our life force energy is high we are more likely to be happy and healthy.
